Mrs. John Evjen passed away Monday morning, Feb 23, having attained the ripe age of eighty-two years, seven months and eleven days. She was born in Norway and came to America in the year 1870. The following year she was united in marriage to John Evjen, and for nineteen years resided at Newborg, Minn. The next thirteen years they resided at Milan, this state, and for the past six years they have made their home with their daughter, Mrs. E. K. Kaupang. The deceased is survived by her husband and daughter, two brothers, who reside in Fillmore, and a sister whose home is in Colorado.
